ekolibrium’s Strategy

“A clever person solves a problem,

a wise person avoids it”

-Albert Einstein

Well, we don’t know if Einstein’s theory will stand for us but we will do our best in order to be wise enough to avoid problems and clever enough to compensate our lack of awareness.

Through this section, you will know about our strategy and the paths we will take.

Will our strategy cross our expectations or shall we be the witnesses and victims of our ignorance?

Since this project started almost one year ago, our strategy already changed many times, not because the preview strategies were not good enough but because we had to reconsider it for each new born information. Knowing that, a question came up to us:

Does THE strategy exist?

Now that we have a better idea on what ekolibrium is, at least we believe to know more about it than yesterday and surely less than tomorrow. Our point of views changed several times since the birth of this project and we keep thinking: Are we really ready for this?

How many things should we learn before KNOWING that we are doing the right thing at the right time? How do we KNOW if the choices we make are the good ones? Forget it! We came to the same answer, always the same for everyone:

We KNOW almost nothing! And what we call knowledge could be used to often in order to talk about our beliefs.

We can suppose, we can even make up some good probabilities about the future but since apparently the amount of things that we (believe to) know is much less that the amount of things we don’t know, multiplied by almost 85% of our brain handicap, it would mean that our beliefs and knowledge are only supported by the 15% of our brain capacity. Can we be sure about what we believe knowing from a 15% brain capacity? Would you trust a car if the seller tells you that this car is safe at 15%? I personally would not.

Do we KNOW that the sun will shine tomorrow or do we believe so much in it that it actually will? In a human point of view, there is a big chance that the sun rises after the night but think about it: According to scientists, the universe is still an unknown field at 99.99%. Does it mean that there is 99.99% of chance to be wrong when we think that the sun will shine in the next hours? We dramatically think so!

Well, you can maybe understand why we are doubting about the way we are going to run this marvellous project. As Directors and project managers we accepted the fact that everyting can happen and that the only thing we can trust could be our adaptation abilities.

However, since ekolibrium is all about Human being and its surrounding, we decided to make our own strategy: A human belief based strategy.

If everything is all about beliefs, why not be able to create the biggest ecological project build thanks to the beliefs of the community?

We can understand that all the above information doesn’t say many things about the strategy but a strategy is not something precise. On the contrary, a a strategy is a gathering of different principles which, through actions, will create an impact and dynamics recognizable by the public.

It would be way too complicated to understand the millions of reasons and causes of a successful or of an unsuccessful project since everything is, in projects made by humans, dealing with other humans. Once again, conscious about the unknown that surrounds us, and with the conscious of the complexity of human mind, the only strategy we can follow is certainly the following:

To consider the human factors, and be as open and clear as possible in order to be understood by people.

This rule stands for either the dynamics we will have with our partners, employees and with all the organisations subscribed in the ekolibrium website, our providers and, obviously, with everyone else who will interact (or not) with ekolibrium.
